Absences Online
We are now happy to be able to offer you another way to let the school know that your child is going to be absent from school. You will now be able to register the absence here on the school website. This has been done to help make life easier for families and for the school. Once the form has been filled in and registered it automatically will appear in the office website's email account and you will receive an email to confirm that your absence has been received.
How to do this:
- Open the school website www.birchville.school.nz
- Look to the side bar and find the absences button and click
- The form will appear for you to fill in the appropriate sections
- Click send
- Check your email for confirmation
This has been designed to be a fast and easy way to process the absences in the mornings, as you can imagine it can be a long and hard process. The form has been designed to be easy to use, if you have any suggestions about how we can improve this service please get in touch.
